This one was a completely Accidental Find. So I arrived early and while waiting for JB City Square Mall to open for the Day, I took a leisurely stroll to explore around and unexpectedly just came across this Beautiful Eatery.
It's quite a Big Airconditioned Eatery which while not Full-House, had quite alot of Customers within even on a Thursday Morning! The Staffs are Quiet and Polite. What I particularly like is a Very Polite and Courteous Indian Male Manager who is diligently walking around almost every table to check if everything is ok. Impressive.

The Kopi Kosong was the 1st to be served up after 4 Mins, Nasi Lemak after 5 Mins and finally the Goreng Pisang. Everything was served up and ready in 7 Mins which was very Impressive considering the Amount of Customers around when I was there.
Padi Kopi (Kosong) = RM3.90
This has a Very Nice and Deep Roasted Coffee Bean Aroma. Cream is very light but you can feel it's presence. Not the Super Strong type of Kopi that will smack you awake, but it is Smooth. Nice and Decent Kopi Quality.

Signature Goreng Pisang = RM6.90
Goreng Pisang is basically Fried Banana and this was served in 6 Relatively Large Pieces with interestingly a Small Plate of Sambal. In Singapore, Goreng Pisang is eaten like a Snack and is usually not served with Sambal, so to me, this is quite an Unusual Way to Eat this Classic Snack. According to the Friendly Staff, apparently this is Classic Johorian Style of eating Goreng Pisang.

The Pisang (Banana) itself is Very Lightly Battered and Beautifully Crispy. The Banana Meat is actually Very Thick, Soft and Melt in Mouth Good. One thing though, this does taste Noticeably Very Sweet, even Sweeter than Usual Bananas. Probably a Special Breed I'm guessing. This is a Very Good Pisang thats Beautifully Fried with No Charred Marks.

The Sambal that comes with this is Surprisingly Deep and Complex. It is Deeply Caramelly Sweet but Not Super Sweet, and the Spiciness is Robust and is the type that will linger on your Tongue. This Sambal really caught me by surprise how Complex it tastes for what I assume is a Simple Snack. Amazing!

By itself, the Goreng Pisang taste like how you expect it to taste, but when you add this Sambal, the Dish gets elevated to a Completely Whole New level. Suddenly Goreng Pisang no longer taste like a Mere Snack but actually becomes a Legit Side Dish to pair with a Main Course. Wow I never knew Goreng Pisang can be eaten this way. If you have never eaten Goreng Pisang with Sambal before, YOU TOTALLY MUST GIVE THIS A TRY!!
Padi Nasi Lemak with Chicken Tender = RM10.90
This was the 1st Dish in their Top 10 List in the Menu, so of course I had to give it a try! Beautifully Presented and the Amount of Ingredients Portion felt Generous. The Sambal for this Nasi Lemak is completely different from the one used in their Goreng Pisang. Its the type that smells like it would be Super Spicy, but the Actual Spiciness is Not That Spicy. To me, I don't even think its Spicy at all. It's also Not the Sweet Type and leans more towards Salty. Deep and Complex, this is a Very Good Non-Spicy Sambal to pair with Nasi Lemak.

The Rice doesn't exactly have the Traditional Malay-Styled 马来风味 taste, but it is still a Decent Level Nasi Lemak, and is not made by just simply spamming Coconut Milk. Beautiful Olive in Colour with Bits of Little Bits of Herb Spices, it Smells Very Fragrant. I thought the Rice has a somewhat Grittier Texture and a Very Noticeable Presence of Salt. This is a Decent Standard, Very Well Made Plate of Nasi Lemak Rice.

The Chicken Tenders I think is Ayam Goreng Kunyit (Fried Turmeric Chicken). Comes in Small Cubes and is made from Chicken Breasts. They are Very Savoury and Not Super Dry with abit of a Juicy Bite. The Batter is Light and Crunchy and I love how Beautifully Spiced the Meat is Marinated within. This is a Very Good Protein Side-Dish. Comes with Half a Hard Boiled Egg, and some Small Pieces of Papadoms which surprisingly works well and didn't felt out of place here. Maybe the Papadom is cut into Smaller Shapes instead of 1 Big Indian-Styled Papadom that made it less unusual for me.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
I Absolutely ADORE this place! It was especially exciting to eat an Authentic Johor-Styled Goreng Pisang with Sambal which was a Real Treat! Everything here is made at a Very High Level and at the Total Price of RM25.17 (S$7.50) is Absolutely Worth the Money to come give this a Try! No Wonder this place was so Popular even on a Weekday!

Not only is the Food nice, the Customer Service at this place is Really Good Too! While I did not have the chance to interact with the Polite Male Manager, the Staff who explained the Goreng Pisang Sambal to me was a Very Chirpy and Friendly Young Indian Lady. Her Friendliness and Genkiness was so Infectious that it even made me Happier than Usual eating here. Hahaha! No Questions about it, this place is Absolutely Highly Recommended!
